The most valuable things I learnt during my time in the Bachelor of Software Engineering programme were mindset and patterns. Knowing how to think when it comes to designing and implementing game systems armed me for the problems I tackled at both my software job and Mytona.

Most students worry about how big the jump from study to the industry will be, but we tend to forget that at Media Design School we've all been practicing as designers since the day we started our studies.

Studying at MDS prepared me for the industry entirely. MDS's project-based learning in a design studio setting really represents the type of collaborative work environment I went into.

Media Design School tested me in all aspects of my work, challenged my ideas and made me think deeper about literally everything that I was creating.

When I was looking for a design degree, MDS just felt like the obvious choice. They had an incredible reputation and the student work on display didn’t leave much doubt as to why. I was looking for a hands-on environment that would leave me fully prepared to enter the industry, and MDS was able to deliver on that.

Unlike other universities, MDS is unique in that your classmates take the same classes each day, which facilitates a stronger camaraderie.

I’ve gained so much than just broader knowledge on the many aspects of media design but I’ve also gained a design family that had made my whole design course experience an unforgettable one!
