Whether you're a designer, developer, or just curious about bringing your ideas to life, LottieFiles x Friends of Figma, Auckland welcomes you to explore motion with them.

In this interactive in-person session at Media Design School at Strayer, you’ll learn how to bring UI elements to life using LottieFiles, following along with a guided webinar.

🕓 The session officially starts at 4:30 PM (NZT).
If you're joining us in person, please arrive at 4:00 PM

🎓 By completing the full lesson, you’ll be ready to apply for an official LottieFiles certificate.

You can complete the exercises during the session, or continue at your own pace afterwards.

This session is great for:

  • Designers curious about motion and micro-interactions
  • Developers who want to better understand animation workflows
  • PMs, founders, or marketers exploring more engaging product experiences
  • Anyone who wants to make their designs feel more alive

What you’ll need:

  • A laptop
  • A free LottieFiles account (we’ll guide you if needed)
  • A Figma account (free is totally fine, we’ll guide you if needed)

No motion experience required. No pressure to get everything perfect. You can follow along at your own pace, and revisit the content anytime.

Leave with a solid understanding of how motion fits into your design workflow, plus practical experience using LottieFiles to create and apply animations.

And if you choose to complete the full course, you’ll be ready to claim your certificate.
