Overview

Aim, content and outcomes

Essential upskilling for working professionals, leaders and managers from all industries and sectors looking to dynamically respond to, and thrive in, a rapidly changing, complex and increasingly uncertain world.

  • Learn from industry guest speakers
  • Collaborate with like-minded professionals
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for adopting an agile mindset and culture for your organisation

Having an agile mindset – for both an individual and an organisation – is about 'being' agile rather than simply 'doing' agile. As a human-centred approach, Agile emphasises people and their interactions, collaboration, openness to new possibilities and opportunities, and dynamically responding to change and uncertainty. This requires a commitment to continuous (iterative) improvement and growth.

As well as being introduced to specific agile development methodologies – such as Scrum and Kanban – you critically evaluate the suitability of adopting agile approaches, mindsets, cultures and leadership across projects, teams and organisations as a way of fostering creativity and innovation. More specifically, you examine your current organisational culture and develop a strategic roadmap for adopting an agile mindset for yourself and your organisation.

In this Agile Mindset micro-credential you will develop

  • The ability to analyse and evaluate the methodologies and benefits of Agile Mindset project management and organisational culture
  • an Agile Mindset Strategy and rationale

Successfully complete this micro-credential and you can transfer these 6 credits towards the Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Transformation* at Media Design School (*subject to meeting programme entry criteria).
