the best life advice I could give [to anyone considering studying Motion Design] is to challenge yourself. Set yourself a limit and proceed to pass it each time.

This is a job you choose if you want to work hard because you love it, and you want to make something awesome. It’s fun, and rewarding, but if you want to go home at 5pm and switch off – well, it’s just not that kind of job!

If you want to get into this field, find something that motivates you and focus on achieving that. Is it your name on the credits of a blockbuster? Working with local filmmakers? Whatever it is, there will be a steep learning curve so you will need determination and motivation.

Every day your work ethic is noticed by your peers and colleagues. Managing your social graces and personal habits is as much a part of studying as the learning part.
