Constitution Day: Thursday, September 17, 2026
In accordance with United States law, all educational institutions that are eligible to receive U.S. Federal funding—including Strayer University—are required to provide an educational program on the United States Constitution for their students on or around September 17 annually. The resources provided below are intended to satisfy this requirement.
On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met to sign the United States Constitution and present it to the American public. September 17 is observed as Constitution Day, or Citizenship Day.
