Potential Campus Closure – Cyclone Vaianu
Media Design School at Strayer (MDS) is preparing for the expected impact of Cyclone Vaianu, which is forecast to bring heavy rain and strong winds to the North Island from Sunday. If a red weather warning is issued for Auckland, the campus will be closed on Monday and all classes will be delivered online.
We are closely monitoring advice from MetService and Civil Defence as the situation develops. A final decision will be communicated on Sunday. In the meantime, students and staff should be prepared for the possibility of online delivery on Monday. Please check your email on Sunday for further updates and follow official guidance as you prepare for the weekend.
