AdSchool’s Big Win in the Big Apple

The One Club Young Ones competition in New York is one of the most acclaimed international advertising, interactive and design student competitions, with thousands of entries from students all over the world.

Jack Close and Alex Erkkila scored a Bronze Pencil for their Spotify Saplings campaign that offsets the emissions of your daily drive by playing Spotify’s 'Your Daily' to greenhouses full of saplings.

 

Merits went to Jack Pfiszter and Theo Spruyt for Like your Passenger; Maria Manniak and Jono Entwhistle for Your Own Radio Station; and Alyssa Yeoman and Franco Ashton for Driving Collisions. 

 

“What is great about these wins is that all four of our student teams created their ideas in the first few weeks of the program. With only four weeks to execute, the winning campaigns were purely a training wheels exercise yet outclassed many Northern Hemisphere schools who had been working on the brief since October 2020.” Kate Humphries, Programme Director - Creative Advertising
