Media Design School at Strayer (MDS) is proud to sponsor the New Zealand Game Developers Conference (NZGDC), bringing together Aotearoa’s game developers, designers, educators, students and enthusiasts for four days of inspiration, connection and creativity.
Taking place at Auckland’s NZICC from 30th September – 3rd October 2026, NZGDC celebrates the people and ideas shaping the future of game development under this year’s theme, Shaping Our World.
You’ll be able to visit MDS in the Kiwi Games Zone and meet our team, discover more about studying game development and creative technology, and connect with the wider game community.
On Saturday 3rd October, 9am-4pm, the Kiwi Games Zone opens to the public, giving players, families, students and games fans the chance to get hands-on with some of the exciting games being created right here in Aotearoa.
Whether you’re already part of the industry or curious about where a passion for games could take you, NZGDC is the place to learn, create, discover and connect.
