Our pre-degree pathways are designed to help you explore your options, build confidence, and develop the creative and technical foundations needed to progress into bachelor’s-level study.

You’ll be introduced to key areas of creative technology – such as design and games – while learning in a supportive, studio-style environment with small classes (maximum 24 students). Along the way, you’ll receive one-on-one guidance from experienced lecturers and connect with other students who are also finding their feet creatively.

It’s a practical, low-pressure way to discover what you enjoy, what you’re good at, and where you want to go next.

With upcoming changes to the Government’s Fees Free policy, the July 2026 intake may be one of the final opportunities for eligible students to access Fees Free funding for an MDS pre-degree certificate.
