Shaun's experience includes working for Waxeye, The Funny Farm, Magimation and Photon VFX, and Weta Digital as lighting rendering TD for Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Tin Tin – The Secret of the Unicorn.
Shaun started out as a commercial interior designer at Inscape design, where he was involved in all areas of the design and fit out process from planning, concept and design through to completion. As the machines took over, he gravitated into Photoshop illustration, 3D modeling and rendering as part of the interior design workflow.
After graduating from Media Design School's Diploma of 3D Animation with distinction in 2002, Shaun went on to work for studios including Waxeye, The Funny Farm, Magimation and Photon VFX (Gold Coast, Australia). In 2011, he took up a short-term contract at Weta Digital as lighting rendering TD for Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Tin Tin – The Secret of the Unicorn. Prior to joining Media Design School he was creative director at IN3d Partners.
