Nicky Rahman is a Lecturer for the Bachelor of Creative Technologies (Game Art) programme at Media Design School

Nicky Rahman teaches Art Design and Foundation in the Bachelor of Creative Technology programme under the Games Department. The programme is designed to expose students to essential art theories and practices, with a strong orientation towards applications in games.

Nicky brings two decades of experience in animation and visual effects education to her role at MDS. Through her teaching, Nicky helps students build a solid creative foundation while encouraging them to explore the artistic principles that shape game design.

Nicky Rahman was born and raised in Malaysia, where she completed a degree in Film and Animation before pursuing a Master’s degree with a focus on acting in animation. She began her teaching journey at Media Design School in 2003 and later continued teaching in Malaysia while raising her family. Passionate about illustration and digital painting, Nicky has recently celebrated becoming a newly published children’s book illustrator.
