It practically felt like a real creative studio. We were all learning from completely different creative perspectives, and that’s exactly what the real industry is like.

MDS was perfect preparation for the industry. The class is treated like an agency, and we are given real industry briefs as part of the curriculum.

MDS prepared me by having daily reviews and feedback which were simulating the real environment we have at Wētā here.

What had the biggest impact on me was the environment. In third year, you’re building a game with your team, but you’re also surrounded by other teams doing the same thing. You walk into Level 4 and everyone’s making something. It’s inspiring, and if you’ve got a competitive streak like me, it pushes you to lift your standard.

AdSchool did what it promised - it was the launch pad for the start of our careers.

You might be the most brilliant creative thinker on earth, but until you’ve learned the discipline of this craft, no one will hire you.

I heard a lot of great things first-hand from MDS alumni, and I found everything to be true – the faculty are super passionate and will go out of their way to support you, the course is structured to get you ready for the industry and the project briefs are exciting and prepare you with fundamental skills and experiences to get you started.
