To be eligible to submit your work to the Bright Awards you need to have been a student enrolled in Years 11, 12 or 13 at a New Zealand secondary school in 2021.

The Artist must submit examples of their own original works, that they have created and have the right to submit and publish, through the provided Dropbox links.

All intellectual property remains the right of the student, though Media Design School may use these images (with proper accreditation to the Artist) for promotional purposes in relation to the Bright Awards.

The submissions will be judged by the Bright Awards panel of judges as appointed by Media Design School. The judging will take place between 8 October 2021 –  5 November 2021. The Bright Award’s judging panel’s determination of the award recipients and their respective schools will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Media Design School’s decision on all matters regarding the Bright Awards are final and no further correspondence will be entered into. Media Design School reserves the right to extend, change or terminate the Bright Awards at any time. Media Design School and the Bright Awards accept no responsibility for entry submissions not received for any reason.

Winners of the Bright Awards and their respective schools will be notified by email on the day on which the award winners are announced or as soon as possible thereafter. The prizes awarded by the Bright Awards are non-transferable or exchangeable and Media Design School reserves the right to forfeit a prize if not claimed.

The Bright Awards is open to New Zealand citizens or residents only. Direct relatives of Media Design School’s support staff or faculty are ineligible to enter this promotion.

Entry into the Bright Awards is deemed acceptance of these terms and indicates that the Artists have comprehensively read, and agreed to, all the aforementioned conditions.
