3D modelling is the foundation of many projects. Many items in a production are created from 3D geometry, including characters, sets and props.
Compositing is the art of bringing all the CG elements together such as mixing live footage and 3D to then refine the look of your work. We provide training in node based compositing, a powerful and technically creative way of working found in almost every film studio around the world.
To make things look photorealistic within 3D software, one must understand the world and light around us. Here students apply what they have learnt about light, material image and photography to produce a Still Life 3D image that looks as real as the photograph they shoot in a studio.
