Expo Day One - smooth
GDC runs over five days but the expo floor only opened on Wednesday. Yet, comes 10am and the doors opened to hundreds of people flooding the different aisles of the Career Pavilion.
Current students, Graduates, and established game professionals were lining up outside booths, especially those of Blizzard, Ubisoft, Insomniac, LucasArts,... For tiny little MDS, we had a fair amount of questions, awe, giggles, and genuine excitement and interest about the school, and the destination for sure.
The music of Guitar Hero World Tour was resonating around, all the way from the Activision booth - nice! The atmosphere around was definetely good and jovial.
CVs were dropped, reels were viewed, games compilations were picked up, business cards exchanged, and students left in a awe of what we do, offer and where we certainly are.
