Costume drama in Wellington
The World of Wearable Arts can’t get enough of our CEO Frances Valintine – she is a finalist for the fifth time running.
Selected out of 327 entries from across the globe, Frances’ creation ‘Genus 2031’ will compete in the Open Category against 106 New Zealand entries and 58 international.
Frances has been entering the Wearable Arts for four years and had five creations chosen as a finalist. Last year’s entry, Man Unleashed, is currently on exhibition in the Wearable Art Museum in Nelson (the birthplace of the event).
Wearable Arts is held in Wellington and is one of New Zealand’s premier events, attracting 40,000 people each year. It kicks off September 27 and runs until October 7.
