Centers of Excellence

Media Design School is part of Laureate’s Centers of Excellence in Art, Architecture and Design which extends from Milan, Italy; Santa Fe University of Art and Design in New Mexico, to NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, to Universidade Anhembi Morumbi in Brazil, and to Universidad del Valle de México. In all, Laureate has more than 34,000 students in 15 countries studying art, architecture and design. The Laureate Centers of Excellence in Art, Architecture and Design provide an international landscape for the exchange of curriculum, faculty, and students, as well as opportunities for dual-degree programs.

 

Santa Fe University of Art and Design


Santa Fe University of Art and Design is an accredited institution located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, one of the world’s leading centers for art and design. The university offers degrees in arts management, contemporary music, creative writing, digital arts, graphic design, film, performing arts, photography and studio art. Domus Academy

Founded in Milan in 1982, Domus Academy was the first post-graduate design school in Italy.  The one-year postgraduate master’s programs focus on design, fashion and management. Domus Academy promotes a cross-disciplinary and learning-by-designing approach where students are involved in design assignments that replicate current professional design practices.  Strongly rooted in Italy, Domus Academy benefits by having its entire faculty composed of professional designers who transfer their experience and professional competencies to students. NABA

NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano, is an education Academy focusing on arts and design: it is the largest and most innovative private Academy in Italy, and the first one to have been recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), back in 1980. As a recognized Academy, NABA offers academic diplomas equivalent to first and second level university degrees in the fields of design, fashion design, graphic design, multimedia, visual arts, and scenography. The Academy was founded in Milan in 1980 upon the private initiative of Ausonio Zappa, Guido Ballo and Gianni Colombo; its objective always was to challenge the rigid academic tradition and introduce visions and languages that are closer to contemporary artistic practices and to the system of arts and creative professions. NewSchool of Architecture and Design

NewSchool of Architecture and Design (NSAD), founded in 1980, is located in San Diego, California. NSAD is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. NSAD’s Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture and Executive Master of Architecture programs are accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). NSAD also offers a pre-professional Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Arts, a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, a Master of Construction Management and a Master of Science in Architecture.
